Toul Meditech Mobile Laminar Flow

  • This Laminar air flow system was developed for the operation environment where the demands on sterile and clean air are elevated. Designed in Sweden, the air flow system eliminates the risk of airborne contamination during surgery, decreasing the risk of postoperative infections.

     

    The mobile instrument provides a horizontal ultraclean laminar airflow which is positioned directly over the surgical site and instruments, acting as a barrier and minimizing the presence of bacteria-carrying particles. To do this, the air within the operating room is extracted by the laminar flow system and is then filtered by a highly effective system of HEPA filters which removes 99.9% of bacteria and micro-organisms in the air.
